Book Collection
The SJC West Library's book collection contains approximately 8,500 volumes.
The materials are cataloged according to the Library of Congress (LC)
classification system.
Approximately one half of the
collection consists of young adult and children's literature, including
the Newbery and Caldecott Award winners.
The online library catalog
can be used to locate materials. Users can search by author, title,
subject or keyword.

Computers
All computers have Internet access and word processing programs, with
additional programs also available.
CHAT ROOMS ARE PROHIBITED.
Periodical Collection
The library receives more than 65 periodical titles, including newspapers.
The library only maintains one year of backfiles for most periodical titles.
Listings of the periodicals can be found at the Borrower Services desk
and the periodical index tables.
Database Sources
The library has access to many database sources via the SJC Library website
http://www.sanjuancollege.edu/lib/index.htm.
Some sources provide full text articles.
Reserve Collection
The Reserve Collection is a small collection of materials that faculty
have reserved for their classes.
